What to do when you are home sick

What to do when you are home sick and bored out of your mind and you have finished the internet. Again.
*update- I have bronchitis, please forward gifts and sympathy 8-D

My suggestion. Go to Pinterest and start looking through your own boards. Pretty soon, because you are sick, you will forget that they are your own boards, and then you will think "wow this person has really great taste!" Then eventually you will realize you are looking at your own pins and you will feel stupid.

Ask me how I know.

  1. Heh, nice. I have been sick since the 23rd, and the stupid cold doesn't want to go away. May check to see if it's bronchitus tomorrow, because this cough. THIS COUGH.

Anywho, I have spent so much time on the couch being useless and not doing much. Don't think I'm brave enough to go near pinterest again - I kill enough possible knitting and sewing time browsing through knitting patterns on Ravelry, and I KNOW how much of a time sink pinterest can be! Too much so, even when I'm sick!

Hope you feel better soon! (And me too - THIS COUGH) Enjoy getting lost in Pinterestland!! :D

  2. Ha!! I had a cold about a week before Christmas. Thankfully it didn't turn out to be more than a little sinus cold, but I swear that the short duration had something to do with the fact that I used my neti pot 2-3 times a day until I got my energy back. It's gross, but I highly recommend. Feel better soon!

    1. I don't use a neti pot anymore, at least since I found a Sinus Rinse bottle. I find it more, um effective. I use my sinus rinse minimum twice a day, even when I'm not sick. Since I started using it, I get much fewer colds. This is what I use.

  3. I feel like I had a similar experience - pre-Pinterest days - involving me looking at the selection on a bookshelf in our family's shared living space. I was so out of it I didn't even recognize my own books! Possibly the worst flu ever... Though that happened quite a while ago. But, um, yes, I understand.

Also, I hope you feel better soon! And its ok if you finished the internet - there will always be more tomorrow ;-)

    1. And by "its" I mean "it's" - my brain knows grammar, but everything around my "L" key has been a bit stubborn lately.

  4. Exactly true!!! I seem to pin, forget, revisit and surprise myself regularly ... beats cutting and gluing into a scrapbook any-day though ... J

    1. I love Pinterest, I tend to use it more as a way to bookmark links, they don't seem to get lost that way.
